Embossed invitations are extremely elegant and have a great feel from the raised symbol. Embossments add an understated, yet dramatic, touch to your invitations. An embossment is created from pressing, at high pressure, a metal die into the stationery (similar to the dies used for engraved lettering except without the ink). Embossments add an understated, yet dramatic, touch to your invitations. We have many house embossments (see the graphics below), as well as the ability to create a custom embossment for your use.
If would like to incorporate an image but do not see it below, please contact us for an estimate on the cost. Our motifs or your images can serve as the basis for your embossing die. Single levels dies begin at $30 and multi-level dies start at $300 (with coats of arms and very intricate dies typically around $325 - $425). The actual embossing press run on the item adds $45.00 for the first 100 impressions and $7.25 for each additional 25. If you ordered 200 invitations, the cost for an embossment on all of them would be $74.00.
