Embossments

Embossed invitations are extremely elegant and have a great feel from the raised symbol. Embossments add an understated, yet dramatic, touch to your invitations. An embossment is created from pressing, at high pressure, a metal die into the stationery (similar to the dies used for engraved lettering except without the ink). This pressing creates an intricate raised indentation that gives your stationery a personalized and elegant look. We have many house embossments (see the graphics below), as well as the ability to create a custom embossment for your use.

Single levels dies begin at $30 and multi-level dies start at $300 (with coats of arms and very intricate dies typically around $325 - $425). Adding a house embossment adds $45.00 for the first 100 impressions and $7.25 for each additional 25. If you ordered 200 invitations, the cost for an embossment on all of them would be $74.00.
